As part of our fabrication services, Metcam provides various in-house or out-sourced metal finishing operations for the components we produce. Powder coating, silk screening, pad printing, labeling and stainless steel brush finishing are among the many finishing services that we offer.

A high-pressure multistage wash line is used for cleaning components prior to the powder coating process. The metal components are masked and plugged to ensure that coating is applied only on areas where necessary. The powder coating is performed either in a powder paint spraying system with paint reclamation features or in standard powder booths. After the coating process, the components are cured in ovens. All stages of operation are connected by a 750-feet long conveyor system.

In addition to powder coating services, we offer silk screening and pad printing solutions. Metcam routinely outsources other material specific pretreatment services, such as plating. Our in-house finishing processes are environmentally friendly and we are ISO 14001:2004 certified.
