Metcam, an award-winning fabricator of sheet metal components and assemblies for OEMs, today announced that Metcam President Bruce Hagenau was a featured table host at The Green Chamber of the South’s 2017 Sustainability Interactive! The annual conference, which focuses on sustainability awareness and education, was held on September 25 at Georgia Tech’s Research Institute Convention Center.
Hagenau helped to educate conference attendees on best practices and the importance of sustainability. Other carefully selected companies included: The Coca-Cola Company, Honeywell International Incorporated and Chick-fil-A, also shared their company’s green initiatives. The successes achieved and improvements needed within the topics of social performance, circular economies and carbon-conscious businesses were also featured in presentation. Suhas Apte, author of “The Sustainability Edge — How to Drive Top-Line Growth with Triple-Bottom-Line Thinking” and former Sustainability Director at Kimberly Clark Corporation, served as the highlight speaker.
